We have the Best Homework Coaches!

Many years of running a successful tutoring business have taught us how to recognize strong homework tutors.  They are typically -- but not always -- young college graduates or undergrads who have done well in school themselves and now seek an opportunity to help others succeed.  They quite likely are not employed in education but all will have had some experience working with young people, perhaps as a teaching asistant or in the tutoring center in college, or perhaps as a sports coach.  All coaches are training on our HomeworkCoach methodology developed in conjunction with a lifelong learning specialist, and receive ongoing supervision and skills enhancement.

We interview each homework coach, check references, and ask them to undergo a criminal background check. Parents are welcome to see the results of this background check and are also invited to talk to the tutor via telephone before the first session.  In addition we guarantee the first meeting. If you have any reservations about your homework coach, we will assign you an alternate coach and you will not be expected to pay for that session.
