Choose from two levels of coach

• Our Undergraduate coaches are currently enrolled college students who are highly motivated and successful  -- and ready to pass on that work ethic to your child.

•  Our Professional or four year degree coaches may or may not be educators, but each has previous tutoring or mentoring experience with young people

All coaches are trained on our proprietary HomeworkCoach methodology developed by a lifelong educator and learning specialist.  All are carefully screened via interview and all complete a criminal background check.

Choose from two levels of program

• Our Recommended plan includes a minimum of two one-hour sessions each week (eight hours a month). This is recommended for most of our clients.  Our experience shows that two sessions a week provides the student and coach an appropriate amount of time to plan, organize and execute various projects and to complete homework assignments.  The second weekly sesion provides important continuity and follow-up of plans put into place at the week's first session.
• Our Light plan consists of one hour of mentoring each week (4 hours a month).  This can be valuable for students who need less guidance to stay on track.

You are free to schedule additional hours with your coach without notifyiing us, and you may switch plans if you so desire. Your tutor will report hours worked each week, and we will simply invoice you for the number of hours received.

Registration and Billing

Once we identify a coach for your student -- and you have spoken to the coach and feel good about moving forward -- you will receive an email from HomeworkCoach with a username and password. Upon receipt of the email, we ask that you log in to our website and register. At registration, we ask for a $25 registration fee and a credit card number that will be stored securely by our merchant bank.

Each month you will receive an electronic invoice and your credit card will be billed for the session hours in your package plus any additional hours your coach reports.

Example 1: You have a Professional coach and have selected our Recommended plan.  We will invoice you for a minimum 8 hours per month at $45/hr, total $360, plus any additional hours you asked the tutor to stay (for example, to complete a particularly important assignment).  Your invoice will itemize all hours tutored and reported by your coach, with a minimum charge of $360 (reduced minimum in holiday/spring break months).  You will have at least 10 days to review the invoice before we automatically proces the payment on the credit card you registered with us.

Example 2: You have an Undergraduate coach and have selected our Light plan.  We will invoice you for a minimum 4 hours per month at $40/hr, total $160, plus any additional hours you asked the tutor to stay.  Your invoice will itemize all hours tutored and reported by your coach, with a minimum monthly fee of $160.  You will have at least 10 days to review the invoice before we automatically proces the payment on the credit card you registered with us.

You may switch plans or cancel coaching by notifying us at least 24-hours before the end of each billing cycle.
